Capabilities
|
The core business of the entire CODAN Group is the manufacture of IV Sets and accessories for both infusion and transfusion therapy. This is true of the CODAN US Corporation as well.
CODAN's capabilities and competitive edge come from our vertically integrated structure. Most of the components used at our assembly lines here at the CODAN US Corporation are designed and produced within the CODAN Group at facilities in Europe, primarily in Germany and in Denmark.
As an example, CODAN in Germany has more than 80 molding presses running around the clock, in conjunction with robotic and other highly automated assembly machinery, to supply drip chambers, roller clamps, connectors, injection sites, spikes, check valves and many other components needed and used by the CODAN US Corporation to complete our IV Sets.
At the CODAN US Corporation, we then assemble IV Sets to either our own or to customer specifications. The finished products are packaged directly at our plant and subsequently sterilized in partnership with a state-of-the-art sterilization company in Southern California.
